Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the entire planning function for the fit-out department.
• Develop and implement effective planning strategies and processes, optimizing efficiency and project delivery.
• Manage a team of planning specialists, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing performance feedback, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve the planning process and achieve greater efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery, clear communication, and alignment on project goals.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges related to project planning, developing contingency plans and solutions.
• Develop and manage the planning department budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
• Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate project progress, planning performance, and key metrics to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fit-out planning, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a planning leadership role within the fit-out contracting industry.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing planning teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, finishes, and building codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant building information modeling (BIM) software.
• Excellent project management, leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership, delegation, and coaching skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, quality control, and maintaining high standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
