Key Account Manager

Overview of the role:

  • Responsible for identifying, qualifying and initiating business with potential/existing fleet customers, by presenting tailored fleet mobility solutions to B2B (Business to Business) and B2G (Business to Government) customers. You will be responsible for promoting the Al Futtaim Electric Mobility brand to achieve your sales objectives while ensuring optimum customer satisfaction and revenue generation.

 

What you will do:

  • Achieve Quarterly/ annual corporate sales targets set by the department lead. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  • Proactively considering and detailed planning of new Go-To-Market strategies in different sectors and emirates
  • Detailed pitching of the Al Futtaim Electric Mobility proposition and ability to display a confident consultative sales approach with all customers and prospects
  • Develop a strong relationship with potential key accounts to lock annual purchase plans. Maintaining and cultivating the relationship with the B2B accounts within the assigned territory, along with providing ongoing support.
  • Identifies business opportunities by establishing the contacts with the fleet customer prospects and analyzing sales options.
  • Be the single point of contact for all key accounts related inquiries or concern for Al Futtaim.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of charging infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of partnerships.
  • Identifying product and service improvements by remaining current on industry trends, market, and competitors’ activities,
  • Ensure business process standards are maintained, including the monitoring of Customer data capture and accuracy at all Point of Sales
  • Preparing Fleet reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintaining accounts receivable within company guidelines. 


Skills

Required skills to be successful:

  • Business to Business and Business to Government and commercial experience.
  • Fleet account management experience.
  • Written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with evident ability to influence customer choices. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

 

About the team:

  • The role reports to the Head of B2B and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. 

 

What equips you for the role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Automotive B2B (Fleet) experience. 2 years in a commercial, business to business sales or major account sales role dealing with Government and Corporate organizations from a variety of industries within the UAE.
  • Strong fleet customer network and developed relationships across the UAE.
  • Proven experience and understanding of new energy vehicles and technical understanding of charging solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience using a consultative sales approach, experience and understanding of SaaS sales is advantageous.
  • Business development experience in entering new sectors, and industries with a product/service.
  • Good level of understanding and experience with Aftersales service and maintenance for B2B customers 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid UAE driver’s license.
