About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is seeking a Lecturer in Mathematics to join the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in Dhahran. This full-time position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and involves both research and teaching responsibilities within the department.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties, which include:

• Delivering lectures and conducting teaching activities.
• Engaging in research activities.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing administrative duties as required.
• Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the department.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• An earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Completion of a full-time Master’s degree program with very good academic grades.
• Possession of a certificate equivalency if the degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Language of Instruction

The primary medium of instruction at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is English. Candidates should be proficient in English to effectively carry out teaching and other academic responsibilities.
