Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or related field (Master's or MBA is a plus) Valid SCFHS registration/classification as Laboratory Specialist Experience :7+ years in a clinical laboratory, including 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role Proven experience preparing labs for CBAHI accreditation; CAP or JCI exposure highly preferred Hands-on experience across multiple lab disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Bank) Demonstrated ownership of a Quality Assurance / Quality Control program, including proficiency testing and corrective action documentation Ability to evaluate and validate new methods, instruments, and vendors Proficiency with LIS and data analysis/reporting tools Strong grasp of critical/panic value protocols and result verification standards Experience in laboratory budgeting (revenue, cost, CAPEX) and resource planning Competency assessment and in-service training program design for testing personnel Staff scheduling, leave planning, and performance evaluation Handling patient, client, and staff complaints professionally Core Competencies :Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication in Arabic and English Patient-centered mindset and high attention to detail Commitment to continuous professional development
