About the Opportunity

Rotana Hotels in Makkah is seeking a dedicated Tailor to join its Housekeeping team. This full-time role focuses on delivering high standards of service by providing essential tailoring and alteration support within the hotel operations. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining the quality and presentation of uniforms and fulfilling guest requests.

Role Purpose

As a Tailor, you will be responsible for executing daily tailoring duties as instructed by Superiors, ensuring strict adherence to established hotel policies and procedures. This position plays a key part in supporting both employee uniform maintenance and guest service needs, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, make, or alter uniforms for new employees.
• Handle basic alterations requested by guests.
• Inform the linen room supervisor regarding the replenishment of sewing supplies.
• Repair and maintain uniforms for all hotel employees.
• Maintain detailed records of daily work completed.
• Convert discarded linen into usable items for re-circulation within the hotel.
• Organize and conduct inventory of all fabric materials.
• Ensure the tailoring area is kept clean and tidy.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by Superiors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Professional tailoring skills, ideally qualified and trained.
• 0-1 years of previous experience in a similar position, preferably within a hotel environment.
