About the Role

Wood is seeking an HSE Advisor Mining to join its Projects business. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and will initially be based in one of Wood's offices in Al Khobar, Riyadh, or Al Jubail. Following this, the role will transition to a site-based assignment within Saudi Arabia, operating on an 8/2 rotation schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop annual HSE improvement plans aligned with Company and Client strategic and business unit objectives.
• Manage project HSE interface requirements, ensuring compliance with existing documents and supporting the development of future plans.
• Communicate HSE interface document/plan requirements to all relevant personnel.
• Support HSE incident investigations and fulfill appropriate reporting requirements.
• Assist in coordinating internal and external audits.
• Communicate important messages from incidents and accidents as part of the Lessons Learned process to all relevant parties.
• Promote and communicate lessons learned from within the project, report deficiencies in project and corporate functions, and record all reportable issues in company action tracking and incident reporting systems.
• Ensure emergency response arrangements are in place and communicated to all personnel, aligning project requirements with Client requirements where precedence applies.
• Liaise with and build relationships with Client HSE Representatives and site Safety Representatives as required.
• Manage attendance and participation at project HSE meetings, workshops, and forums.
• Maintain a system for monitoring HSE performance.
• Develop a site HSE visit program for self, project/contract management, and Corporate HSE management.
• Promote workforce involvement in all HSE activities, initiatives, and programs.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for the HSE Advisor Mining role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the mining or related sectors.

Work Location and Schedule

The position is full-time and will initially be office-based in one of Wood's facilities located in Al Khobar, Riyadh, or Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Subsequently, the role will require mobilization to a site-based assignment within Saudi Arabia, operating on an 8/2 rotation schedule.
