About the Opportunity

Empiric is seeking an Operating Model Expert Remanufacturing Oil & Gas to join our team as a consultant. This contract role is based in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and involves working with a global Oil & Gas customer to establish a significant industrial service and remanufacturing capability.

Role Purpose and Scope

This is a strategic advisory position focused on contributing to business-critical projects and systems. The expert will define operating models, introduce proven industry practices, and provide guidance on building scalable service and remanufacturing processes within complex industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define comprehensive operating models for industrial service and remanufacturing.
• Introduce and implement proven industry best practices.
• Lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops to align on strategic objectives.
• Provide expert guidance on developing scalable service and remanufacturing processes.

Required Experience and Background

• A minimum of 10–15+ years of experience in industrial services, MRO, remanufacturing, or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated background within a mature OEM or industrial service organization.
• Practical experience with repair centres, workshops, remanufacturing facilities, or manufacturing plants.
• Strong foundational knowledge of component repair, restoration, quality assurance, and traceability.

Relevant Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in CNC machining and repair machining.
• Experience with Additive Manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of welding and material deposition processes.
• Understanding of casting and foundry operations.
• Familiarity with coatings and surface treatment applications.
• Competence in reverse engineering methodologies.
