: Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Material Planner to manage material requirements, inventory levels, supplier deliveries, and ensure the timely availability of materials to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the supply of materials and components to meet production requirements and maintain appropriate safety stock levels.
• Monitor and manage supplier deliveries and follow up on outstanding orders.
• Take prompt action to address material shortages that may affect production.
• Manage material requirements using MRP and other relevant systems.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory data.
• Monitor inventory levels against agreed targets and support inventory checks.
• Minimize obsolete and excess stock.
• Prepare regular reports and analysis related to materials and inventory.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

✓ Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.

✓ Previous 3–5 years of experience in Production and Materials Planning, ideally within the Aluminum Systems or manufacturing industry.

✓ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

✓ Strong knowledge and skills in ERP systems, including advanced Excel skills.

✓ Knowledge and experience in using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or similar.

✓ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques would be advantageous.
