Job Details

 We are a very well equipped school with all classrooms having access to the latest technology and resources. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Music & PSHE Teacher, who will be a key member of our diverse, and compassionate teaching team and will be responsible for delivering engaging and holistic learning experiences for our SV students. You will be responsible for developing a stimulating learning environment with continuous provision both inside the classroom and out. Position Duties The successful candidate will be able to effectively: Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people ( child protection ). Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the aims and targets of The National Curriculum in England. Develop, evaluate and revise curriculum documentation and planning to support teaching and learning. Deliver an active, hands-on and student-centred programme to promote learning and skills development. Develop defined enhanced provision areas in your classroom in line with continuous provision. Observe, monitor and record student progress. Inspire children with enthusiasm and a love for learning. Be flexible and adaptable to changes - for example, virtual school / distance learning. Respond appropriately to the range of individual needs and abilities within the class. Demonstrate creativity and a willingness to innovate. Inspire compassionate action. Positively contribute to school culture and climate. Have a good grasp of educational technology and how it is implemented to enhance learning. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or the Assistant Principals.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Knowledge The ideal candidate will have: University degree in the subject area of employment. Current teacher certification in the required subject area. Certification should be from a recognised and nationally recognised institution. Classroom teachers should be able to demonstrate relevant experience and certification in teaching similar school programs as the applied for position (preferred). Experience and Skills The ideal candidate will have: Experience Prior experience as a Music teacher. Prior experience with continuous provision. Experience with Google Workspace. Skills Ability to demonstrate a track record of continued professional development. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Good interpersonal skills in interacting with students, parents and colleagues. Ability to supervise students in non-classroom settings. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to lead an after-school activity. Empathetic and compassionate.
