Role Overview

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Electrical Inspector to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical works on various construction projects. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in electrical inspection within the construction sector.

The Electrical Inspector Role

The Electrical Inspector plays a crucial role in supervising and inspecting all electrical works on-site. This position ensures strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards, contributing directly to successful project delivery. The inspector also monitors contractor performance and addresses technical and quality concerns promptly, ensuring adherence to Hill International's operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, and progress, ensuring timely resolution of technical and quality issues.
• Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Inspect electrical installations, including LV systems, lighting, power distribution, and associated building services.
• Ensure approved materials are used and that all works comply with project specifications and HSE requirements.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, and inspection activities, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Prepare daily site reports, inspection reports, progress updates, and maintain site records.
• Coordinate with the Client, Consultants, Project Engineers, and Contractors to support successful project delivery.
• Review variations, technical queries, and changes to minimise project delays and cost impacts.
• Ensure compliance with Hill International’s quality, safety, and environmental procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience working on residential, villa, hospitality, or large-scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing contractors and conducting site inspections.
• Good understanding of construction standards, HSE requirements, and quality control procedures.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
