About the Role

The Coffee Brand is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to join its team in Dammam. The holder of this full-time position will be responsible for implementing operational and financial audits to ensure policy compliance and minimize losses. The role requires 2 to 5 years of experience in a related field.

Job Objective

The Loss Prevention Officer aims to conduct comprehensive audits across branches and facilities, focusing on operational, financial, and compliance aspects. The role directly contributes to reducing financial losses, ensuring adherence to approved policies and procedures, and proactively identifying potential risks, supporting sustainable effective operational performance across all branches.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and surprise audits of branches to assess performance and compliance.
• Review daily cash counts and verify cash handling procedures.
• Audit inventory records and shrinkage daily to identify discrepancies.
• Ensure full adherence to approved operational procedures and policies.
• Review daily collections and deposit timing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Detect any unusual inventory discrepancies or shrinkage and investigate.
• Monitor fraud indicators and potential operational risks and provide required reports.
• Ensure secure handling and management of safe keys procedures.
• Monitor policy violations and categorize audit results by risk level.
• Prepare detailed audit reports within 24 hours of the visit, attaching supporting evidence (e.g., photos, POS reports, signatures).
• Follow up on implementing approved corrective actions until fully closed.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of audit documents and records.
• Identify emerging operational risks and provide appropriate mitigation recommendations.
• Support internal investigations when needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical experience ranging between 2 to 5 years in loss prevention or auditing.
• Prefer previous experience in retail or food & beverage, especially in a multi-branch environment.
• Ability to analyze financial and operational data and identify risks.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.

Job Details

This is a full-time position based in the city of Dammam. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
