Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures on maritime navigation, ship operations, and safety regulations, ensuring all students grasp complex theoretical concepts.
- Develop and implement practical training modules, including simulator exercises and onboard practicals, to hone students' hands-on maritime skills.
- Assess student progress through rigorous examinations, practical evaluations, and constructive feedback, identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain and update curriculum materials to reflect the latest industry standards, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in nautical science.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a Master Mariner (Unlimited) or equivalent advanced maritime certification, demonstrating a high level of professional competence.
- Hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nautical Science, Maritime Studies, or a related field, providing a strong academic foundation.
- Accumulate a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in command or senior deck officer roles on commercial vessels, offering practical insights.
- Maintain current STCW certifications, including Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid, and Survival Craft, ensuring safety expertise.
