Scope of the role and overview

We are a leading company in vehicle services and maintenance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, seeking a talented and passionate car electrician to join our team in Dammam. You will work within an advanced technical environment and under a stringent regulatory framework to ensure the highest safety and quality standards, and directly contribute to diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic systems in modern vehicles.

Responsibilities and duties

• Diagnose faults in electrical, navigation, and electronic circuits in cars using specialized diagnostic tools.
• Perform precise electrical tests, determine the causes of faults, and provide immediate and sustainable solutions.
• Replace and install electrical components, control circuits, and assistive systems according to technical specifications.
• Prepare accurate technical reports and document repair and maintenance operations in the Work Order Tracking System (ATS).
• Collaborate with workshop teams to ensure work quality and adherence to the specified delivery time.
• Comply with occupational safety procedures and ensure a safe and risk-free work environment.
• Stay updated on modern vehicle systems and interact with workshop teams to apply new technologies when needed.

Qualifications and requirements

• Diploma (3 years) in automotive electricity or a related field.
• Experience of 2 to 5 years in automotive electrical systems or vehicle maintenance workshops.
• Location: Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with willingness to travel or work at variable sites if necessary.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings and understand modern vehicle systems.
• Proficient in using testing equipment, diagnostic tools, and programs used by vehicle manufacturers responsible for software updates.

Required skills

• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with attention to detail and precise documentation.
• Deep understanding of electrical circuits, sensors, and the interface systems between the engine and electronics.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills in both Arabic and technical English when necessary.
• Commitment to occupational safety and knowledge of fire safety procedures and handling high-voltage circuits.
