Role Description We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Supervisor to join our Exploration Operations team in Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will supervise heavy equipment operations supporting road access construction and drilling pad preparation. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and productive earthworks while coordinating closely with contractors, geology teams, and field personnel to meet project schedules and operational objectives in full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise heavy equipment operations for road access construction and drilling pad preparation. Coordinate daily field activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved project plans. Monitor contractor performance and promote best practices in equipment utilization and earthworks execution. Coordinate with geology and field operations teams to support exploration activities. Ensure timely delivery of drilling pads and access roads to meet operational schedules. Identify and resolve field operational issues while maintaining productivity and equipment availability. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards, including the use of Stop Work Authority where necessary. Monitor heavy equipment utilization and recommend improvements to maximize operational efficiency. Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and operational performance. Qualifications Minimum 8–10 years of experience in heavy equipment operations, mine earthworks, road access construction, and drilling pad preparation. Previous supervisory experience in heavy equipment or construction operations is required. Strong knowledge of earthworks, heavy equipment operations, mining support services, and construction methodologies. Experience in mining, exploration, construction, or industrial field operations is highly desirable. Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, environmental, and operational compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Strong planning, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Experience working in remote mining or exploration environments is an advantage.
