Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically adept Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic facilities team in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. This internship-level role is designed for recent university graduates who are eager to apply engineering principles to the maintenance and reliability of industrial equipment, utilities, and building systems. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to develop hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and optimization of operations to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive maintenance planning and scheduling for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Should have awareness of Polysterene machine ,shapemould machine etc
- Support routine inspections, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting of equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors, HVAC systems, and utility networks.
- Collect and analyze operational data to identify failure trends and opportunities for reliability improvements.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions under supervision.
- Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely parts availability and machine compliance.
- Contribute to the creation and updating of standard operating procedures and maintenance work instructions.
- Assist with commissioning, testing, and handover activities for new assets or retrofits.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality policies during maintenance activities.
- Support energy efficiency and equipment optimization initiatives to reduce downtime and operating costs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field from an accredited university.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience or internships in maintenance within industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environments; internship-level applicants welcome.
- Strong foundation in mechanical/electrical theory, reliability engineering, and preventive maintenance concepts.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, control systems, and electrical safety protocols is preferred.
- Hands-on aptitude with diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and computer-based maintenance management systems (CMMS/ERP familiarity is a plus).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous for local coordination.
- Authorized to work in Saudi Arabia; willingness to relocate to Al Ahsa if not local.
