Role Description The Leak Sealing Design Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dammam, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home. This role is responsible for designing leak sealing solutions for pipelines, process equipment, and related systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing engineering designs, performing technical calculations, preparing CAD models and drawings, and supporting the fabrication and installation teams with clear technical documentation. The engineer will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and project teams to assess leak issues, propose solutions, and optimize product designs for field conditions. The role may also involve reviewing client specifications, contributing to product improvement initiatives, and supporting technical proposals and presentations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills, including concept development, technical calculations, and solution optimization. Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills relevant to pressure vessels, piping, and industrial equipment used in Oil & Gas and related industries. Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating 2D/3D models, detailed drawings, and documentation of leak sealing components. Candidates should possess Product Design skills for developing practical, field-ready leak sealing solutions that consider manufacturability and safety. Relevant Electrical Engineering knowledge is beneficial for integrating leak sealing solutions with monitoring or control systems. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; advanced certifications in design or CAD are an advantage. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or industrial maintenance environments, particularly in leak sealing or mechanical repair solutions, is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to interpret engineering standards and client specifications. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work environment.
