We are seeking an Interior Designer / Decor Engineer with a high artistic sense and technical skills to manage design projects from concept to execution, while adhering to quality, schedule, and cost.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare design concepts and develop decoration layouts that align with client needs and budget.
- Plan and implement designs within defined spaces considering functional, aesthetic performance and technical requirements.
- Prepare execution drawings, furniture layouts, material lists, and ensure quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and execution teams to ensure accurate implementation and diligent project monitoring.
- Manage project costs and schedule, and provide periodic reports on project status and proposed challenges with solutions.
- Contribute to material and finish selections aligned with brand identity and operating environment.
- Prepare work proposals and present designs to clients, adjusting based on their feedback.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A university degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree).
- Minimum one year of practical experience in interior design or as a Decor Engineer, preferably in a design or contracting firm environment.
- Proficiency in common design software such as AutoCAD, 3D Max/SketchUp, V-Ray
- Lumion - Revit
- and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of building standards, materials and finishes, and ability to read execution drawings and furniture plans.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to work in a team under exhibition pressure and continuous change for further improvements.
