About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time, long-term position as a PHD Peer Reviewer. This role supports remote work and is based in Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The primary function of this role is to conduct thorough peer reviews of academic manuscripts. This involves critically evaluating research for originality, methodological soundness, and contribution to the field. The reviewer will provide constructive feedback to authors and editors, contributing to the integrity and quality of academic publications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts, determining their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze the clarity and appropriateness of results presentation, and confirm that conclusions are supported by the data and are significant to the field.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and potential ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript publication status (acceptance, revision, or rejection) to the journal editor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field.
• Publication record of at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
