We are actively looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Commercial team,
Core Responsibilities:Manage product and supplier selection within assigned categories. Plan, forecast, and report on sales and business performance. Control category budgets, including sales, profitability, and inventory targets. Maintain healthy stock turns and manage inventory performance. Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing and commercial terms. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders. Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities. Coordinate and implement promotional and advertising initiatives. Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and business objectives.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university. Minimum 5 years of retail buying experience. Strong proficiency in Arabic and English. Strong analytical and commercial acumen. Advanced Excel and reporting skills. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Experience in sales forecasting and inventory management. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Results-oriented with high integrity and accountability.
