WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Special Airport Systems (SAS) Passive Engineer to be based in KSA. This role leads and oversees all passive infrastructure elements supporting Special Airport Systems, including structured cabling, pathways, containment systems, and associated infrastructure. You will ensure passive systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in line with project standards and aviation requirements, while coordinating closely with active systems, ICT, and construction interfaces. You will also support the Project Director by monitoring progress and ensuring integration with airport operational frameworks.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of relevant experience in passive infrastructure delivery for complex ICT/ELV/airport/mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, containment (tray/trunking/conduit), pathways, and passive infrastructure coordination in live construction settings.
• Proven experience working on major multi-stakeholder projects, interfacing with active systems and ICT teams and managing construction constraints.
• Solid capability in quality and progress control: inspections, compliance checks, test planning, and structured close-out.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide concise, accurate progress and risk updates.
• A practical, site-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability and attention to technical detail.
