Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of welding processes and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Utilize advanced non-destructive testing techniques, such as ultrasonic and radiographic testing, to assess weld integrity and detect defects.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation to communicate findings and ensure traceability of quality control processes.
  • Collaborate closely with welding engineers and technicians to address any discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field is highly preferred to ensure a strong technical foundation.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent are essential to validate expertise in the field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in welding inspection, specifically within the oil and gas, construction, or manufacturing industries, is required.
  • Proven experience with various welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, to understand their unique inspection requirements.
