Key Responsibilities:- Conduct repairs & maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
- Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes.
- Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspect used parts for dimensional changes using ruling and measuring tools.
- Adjust functional parts and control instruments for optimal operation.
- Repair or replace defective parts as necessary.
- Set-up and operate metalworking tools when required.
