Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled D365FO Technical Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, customization, and technical support of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (formerly AX). You will collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality ERP solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:• Design and develop technical solutions using X++, C#, and . NET within D365FO. • Customize standard Dynamics 365 FO functionalities using extensions, events, and custom objects while following Microsoft’s best practices. • Develop and maintain Integrations with external systems using Data Entities, OData, or custom APIs. • Work with Data Management Framework (DMF) for data migration and transformation. • Create and maintain SSRS reports, Power BI reports, and data entities. • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. • Support environment management, code deployment, and build automation using Azure Dev Ops. • Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation. • Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO updates and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in D365 Finance and Operations development. • Strong proficiency in X++, C#, . NET Framework, and Visual Studio. • Experience in on-premise. • Experience with Azure Dev Ops, LCS (Lifecycle Services), and source control management. • Solid understanding of D365FO architecture, data model, and extension framework. • Experience developing custom reports using SSRS and Power BI. • Familiarity with REST / SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and integration frameworks. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
