Job Description

We are currently hiring for the position of Civil/Structural Design Engineer - Transmission Line (T/L) for our ongoing Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) projects.

We are currently hiring for Electrical Design Engineers (Tower Design) and Civil / Structural Design Engineers (Tower Foundation) for Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects.

• Electrical Design Engineer - Tower Design

  
  
  

• Civil / Structural Design Engineer - Tower Foundation

  
  
  

Electrical Design Engineer:

• Design of transmission line towers using PLS Tower

  
  
  

• Preparation of loading trees and load calculations (wind, conductor, insulator loads, etc.)

  
  
  

• Review and validation of tower geometry and configurations

  
  
  

• Coordination with civil/structural teams for foundation inputs

  
  
  

• Design calculations using MS Excel / MathCAD / STAAD Pro

  
  
  

Civil / Structural Design Engineer:

• Design of tower foundations for transmission line projects

  
  
  

• Experience in foundation types such as:

  
  
  

  • Pile / Pier Foundations

    
    
    

  • Pad & Chimney Foundations

    
    
    

  • Rock Anchor Foundations

    
    
    

• Structural design calculations using MS Excel / MathCAD / STAAD Pro

  
  
  

• Coordination with electrical team for load inputs

  
  
  

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Civil Engineering (Regular mode is mandatory)

  
  
  

• M.E. / M.Tech in Structural Engineering - Added advantage

  
  
  

• Minimum 7 years of experience in OHTL / Transmission Line Projects

  
  
  

• Strong hands-on experience in:

  
  
  

  • Tower Design (Electrical)

    
    
    

  • Tower Foundation Design (Civil - Pile & Open Foundations)

    
    
    

Mandatory:

• PLS Tower (for Electrical role)

  
  
  

• Strong command of MS Excel

  
  
  

Preferred:

• PLS-CADD

  
  
  

• MathCAD

  
  
  

• STAAD Pro

  
  
  

• SP Column

  
  
  

• Working knowledge of ACI 318 and ASCE 10-97
