Our company is looking for a skilled AutoCAD Drafter with experience in HVAC systems to join our technical team. If you’re detail‑oriented, organized, and passionate about creating accurate mechanical drawings, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings using AutoCAD
• Draft ducting layouts, chilled water piping, drainage, and ventilation systems
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical plans
• Update and revise drawings based on engineer feedback
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
• Support project engineers with documentation and technical submittals
Skills
Requirements
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter in the HVAC or MEP field
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical drawings
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with Revit (MEP)
• Knowledge of SMACNA standards
• Familiarity with mechanical load calculations
