Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Architect Inspector - Façade to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of building façade systems, ensuring compliance with architectural specifications, building codes, and safety standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our construction and renovation projects while providing professional guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough inspections of façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and building envelope components
- Verify compliance with Saudi Building Code, international standards, and project specifications
- Document inspection findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions using detailed reports and photographic evidence
- Analyze façade materials, installation methods, and workmanship quality against established standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to address inspection findings and implement corrective measures
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports with clear recommendations and timelines for remediation
- Maintain organized records of all inspections, test results, and compliance documentation
- Communicate inspection results and technical findings to clients and project stakeholders in a professional manner
- Identify potential safety hazards and recommend preventive measures
- Stay current with evolving building codes, standards, and best practices in façade inspection and building envelope systems
- Utilize CAD software and inspection documentation systems to organize and present findings
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure consistent inspection protocols across all projects
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Architect.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in façade inspection, architectural inspection, or building envelope assessment
- Comprehensive knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding systems, glazing, and waterproofing solutions
- Strong understanding of Saudi Building Code and international building standards (ISO, ASTM, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with CAD software and digital documentation systems
- Demonstrated experience with quality assurance and inspection protocols
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are preferred
- Experience preparing detailed inspection reports and technical documentation
- Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment (moisture meters, thermal imaging, etc.)
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to organize and manage multiple inspection projects simultaneously
- Professional demeanor with strong client-facing and stakeholder communication abilities
- Preferred: Certification in building inspection, façade engineering, or related field
- Preferred: Experience with building information modeling (BIM) and project management software
