Risk Management Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Risk Management Specialist to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in identifying, assessing, and monitoring operational, technical, and project-related risks that may impact business performance, asset reliability, and investment decisions.
The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven methodologies, digital tools, and structured risk frameworks to support strategic decision-making and long-term asset planning.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, assess, and document operational, technical, and project-related risks (technical & non-technical). Develop and maintain comprehensive risk registers, dashboards, and analytical reports. Analyze risk trends and present clear, data-driven insights to management. Support development and monitoring of mitigation strategies and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Utilize data automation tools to enhance reporting efficiency and risk modeling accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk awareness, governance, and compliance. Maintain and update asset risk value databases. Develop short- and long-term risk mitigation action plans aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).4–6 years of relevant experience in risk management, asset management, or related technical fields. Strong proficiency in digital tools and risk analysis software. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Basic programming knowledge (Python, VBA, or similar is an advantage). Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.
