We are seeking a skilled and experienced Generator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, setup, and commissioning of diesel generators, including generators with separate radiator systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission diesel generators of various capacities
• Install and connect generators with separate radiator systems
• Perform mechanical and electrical installation work
• Connect fuel systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, and control panels
• Perform load testing and system diagnostics
• Ensure proper grounding and electrical connections
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors during installation
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing when required
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Skills

• Proven experience in generator installation
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and electrical connections
• Experience with separate radiator (remote cooling) systems
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work on-site and travel if required
• Technical certification is preferred
