We are currently seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator focused on Gas Plants Environment to join one of our prestigious clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations within gas plant operations.
You will collaborate with field teams, contractors, and management to assess risks, monitor compliance, and implement effective safety measures and procedures.
Background : Gas Plants Environment Coordination background JOB DESCRIPTION As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: • Maintain full Environmental Compliance with the Saudi Aramco Applicable Environmental requirements including SAEP, SAES, GIs and other applicable government regulations.
• Implement waste management plans for hazardous, non-hazardous, and special wastes including the waste minimization, segregation, storage, transport, and disposal activities with contractors and vendors.
• Conduct E&OH field audits and inspections as required.
• Organize and review air emissions monitoring, wastewater sampling, soil assessments and report any non-compliances and ensure corrective actions are tracked and closed in a timely manner.
• Lead initial environmental spill response coordination, reporting, and root cause analysis, and maintain site-specific Spill Prevention, Control.
• Conduct regular facility environmental inspections and audits, including contractor facilities, and Track corrective action close-outs in environmental tracking systems.
• Develop and promote a culture of proactive environmental management, and Deliver environmental inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly environmental performance reports, and maintain and update the site’s Environmental Management System (EMS) in compliance with ISO 14001 • Bachelor degree in, Engineering, HSE, Science, Industrial, or in a related discipline from an accredited entity or equivalent.
A Master’s Degree or PhD is preferable.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience related to Environmental operations, Oil & Gas industry with minimum of 7 years in Oil & Gas.
• Certifications (preferred) such as ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor, and NEBOSH Environmental Certificate, and Hazardous Waste Management Certification (e.
g., RC Hazardous Waste Permit Awareness).
• Strong knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) principles.
• Environmental management certification.
• Legal and regulatory knowledge concerning Environmental.
• A good eye for Environmental and the ability to pay attention to details.
• A comprehensive understanding of the Environmental Impact Assessments.
• Skills in training and motivating colleagues.
• Familiarity with the time reporting system.
• Strong knowledge of project control.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capacity to identify situations requiring improvement in Environment.
• Excellent leadership skills and multitasking abilities.
