The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control procedures on a large-scale development project. The role ensures that all construction activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and client requirements to achieve high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with contract requirements.
Ensure all materials, workmanship, and construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Review and approve Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
Conduct site inspections, surveillance, and audits to verify quality compliance.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
Raise NCRs, track corrective actions, and ensure timely close-out.
Witness inspections, tests, and commissioning activities.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results, and as-built documentation.
Support internal and external quality audits.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, project standards, and international codes.
Provide guidance to site teams on quality requirements and best practices.
Report quality performance and key issues to the Project Manager and QA/QC Manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
Minimum 8–12 years of QA/QC experience in large infrastructure, buildings, or mixed-use projects.
Experience on mega or large-scale projects in KSA preferred.
Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, ISO 9001, and construction quality standards.
Familiar with ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, and quality documentation.
Good understanding of international codes and Saudi standards.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Transferable Iqama preferred.
