We are inviting applications from candidates who have experience working as Production Planner in heavy engineering industries for the genset manufacturing division.
Job Purpose
To support smooth and efficient production operations by coordinating daily activities, maintaining accurate schedules and records, monitoring progress, and providing timely reports. The role ensures alignment between production plans and manpower, assists in planning and performance tracking, and supports the Production Manager in achieving departmental objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management.
  • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Break down project scope into activities together with project planner to produce project schedules.
  • Monitor and follow up daily production activities for each project and report observations to the production manager.
  • Update production manpower schedules on daily basis and issue copies to the production manager and Project Planning team.
  • Monitor production schedules progress and update production databases.
  • Produce and maintain production performance and KPI reports and prepare monthly reports.
  • Maintain and control all production records for tools and consumables in coordination with the Production Supervisor.
  • Ensure weekly overtime requests is in line with the Production Plan.
  • Prepare monthly plan with Production Manager, Project Planning and Division Director.
  • Monitor and produce weekly production capacity report.
  • Record all shipments and issue monthly shipment report.
  • Assist Production Manager in his daily activities
HSE Responsibilities
  • Adhere to follow all company Quality, Health, Safety, And Environmental (QHSE) policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Promptly identify and report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses to the appropriate supervisor or QHSE team.
  • Attend and actively participate in mandatory Safety inductions, HSE trainings, safety meetings, emergency drills and root cause investigations.
  • Follow established emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans, fire response, and first aid if trained.
  • Follow protocols to minimize environmental impact, including proper waste disposal and reporting spills or leaks.
  • Provide suggestions to enhance Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and take responsibility and initiatives for continual improvement.
Qualifications & Relevant Certifications
  • Bachelor/Diploma in Business Management or Equivalent
