The Safety Inspector oversees occupational safety at construction sites, ensuring all activities comply with HSE guidelines, project safety plans, and legal requirements. The role focuses on preventing incidents and maintaining safe working conditions.


Your role
  • Conduct daily HSE inspections of road projects, work zones, and equipment.
  • Monitor implementation of risk assessments, method statements, and permit‑to‑work systems.
  • Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safety procedures.
  • Identify hazards and unsafe practices; issue corrective actions and follow up.
  • Verify compliance with traffic management measures and safe movement of vehicles/machinery.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
  • Participate in incident/near‑miss investigations.
  • Maintain safety logs, daily reports, and audit documentation.
  • Support emergency preparedness and drills.
About you
  • Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Safety.
  • 3–7 years HSE experience in road or infrastructure projects.
  • Certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA preferred.
  • Strong hazard identification and reporting skills.
  • Good communication and safety leadership qualities.
