Our Al Khobar office is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Inspection Team Leader to join our dynamic team.


Role Overview:



The Inspection Team Leaderis responsible for representing Fulkrum and its Clients on site; they will be required to carry out QC activities as directed by the Fulkrum Operations/Coordination Manager, Senior QC Coordinator, QC Coordinator, or Coordination Assistantwhile also supporting inspectors in the field with technical queries, Training, and conducting Inspector field audits/Assessments.


The Inspection Team Leaderis also responsible for ensuring that, where applicable, all inspection activities are performed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020:2012 requirements and Fulkrum's documented quality procedures. This includes maintaining impartiality, independence, and traceability of all inspection results.


Field Inspection & Testing




  • Represent Fulkrum and clients during QC activities.

  • Conduct visual inspections and review material certificates.

  • Witness/verify NDT and FAT activities.

  • Perform pre‑shipment checks and inspections per ITPs and procedures.

  • Plan and execute inspections using approved documentation.


Reporting & Documentation




  • Produce and submit detailed inspection reports within 24 hours.

  • Record findings accurately and issue NCRs when required.

  • Maintain confidentiality and identify subcontracted test results clearly.

  • Prepare and store field audit reports.


Operational Support




  • Provide desk‑based operational support and review reports.

  • Assist coordination with technical reviews and complaint investigations.

  • Prepare annual audit plans and conduct audits.

  • Deliver monthly technical training and lead onboarding/operational training for Inspectors.


Compliance & Performance




  • Ensure compliance with SLAs and calibration requirements.

  • Participate in internal audits and improvement activities.

  • Report conflicts of interest or pressures affecting impartiality.


Ethical Standards




  • Uphold Independence, Impartiality, Integrity, and Confidentiality in line with ISO 17020 Type A.


Skills & Qualifications



Education / Experience




  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering.

  • 8 years’ QC experience for degree holders; 10 years for diploma holders.


Certifications




  • Electrical: COMPEX / ATEX preferred.

  • Welding/Mechanical: CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI (mandatory); CSWIP 3.2 / AWS SCWI preferred.

  • Coatings: BGAS 2, NACE 2, or SSPC 2 preferred.

  • NDT Level II (RT, PT, UT, MT) mandatory.

  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor mandatory.

  • API certifications preferred.


Standards Knowledge




  • Strong knowledge of ASME, ASNT, API, NACE codes.

  • Experience with all zone types of mechanical/electrical equipment.

  • Familiarity with onshore/offshore O&G projects.

  • Proficient in MS Office and ISO/IEC 17020:2012.

This is a critical role within the organization and one which requires a great amount of attention to detail, a thorough understanding of the Oil and Gas industry and a commitment to enhancing the company'profile through best practices.


HSE Awareness:



All personnel are informed of Fulkrum's Health and Safety policy and procedures during the onboarding process. Any HSE incidents must be reported and logged with the QHSE Manager, who will oversee and support any subsequent investigations.
