Core Positioning:
Responsible for driving sales growth, developing key industrial accounts, managing the sales team, and expanding the company’s market share in environmental solutions and industrial wastewater treatment projects across Saudi Arabia. Focused on large industrial clients, governmental and semi-governmental sectors, and EPC partners.
II. Core Job Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Sales Strategy
- Conduct continuous market research on industrial sectors (food & beverage, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, slaughterhouses, textile, mining, etc.) to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives to increase revenue and market penetration in Saudi Arabia.
- Analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging technologies in wastewater and environmental solutions.
- Prepare annual and quarterly sales plans, budgets, and forecasts.
2. Key Account Management & Business Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and government stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and long-term service agreements.
- Manage strategic partnerships with technology suppliers and international solution providers.
- Represent the company in exhibitions, conferences, and industry events (e.g., Saudi Water Expo, Future Environment Global Expo).
3. Sales Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and provide continuous training on products, solutions, and sales techniques.
- Coordinate between sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Build a professional and motivated sales culture focused on results and customer trust.
4. Proposal & Tender Management
- Oversee preparation of technical-commercial proposals, tenders, and bids for industrial and governmental projects.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, Saudi regulations, and environmental standards (NCEC, MOWE, Vision 2030 sustainability goals).
- Participate in pricing strategy, cost estimation, and contract reviews.
- Track tender pipelines and manage opportunity conversion rates.
5. Brand & Market Presence
- Strengthen company positioning as a trusted provider of environmental and wastewater solutions in the Saudi market.
- Work with marketing team to develop promotional materials, case studies, and technical presentations.
- Collect customer feedback and coordinate with technical teams to improve solutions and services.
6. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales performance reports (revenue, pipeline, market share, conversion rate).
- Monitor KPIs such as sales growth, client acquisition, and customer retention.
- Use data analysis to adjust sales strategies and improve ROI.
III. Job Requirements
1. Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
2. Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development in environmental solutions, wastewater treatment, or industrial projects.
- Proven experience in managing a sales team and handling large industrial or governmental accounts.
- Strong existing relationships within the Saudi industrial and environmental market is highly preferred.
3. Core Competencies
Technical & Market Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of wastewater treatment technologies (MBR, MBBR, RO, UF, sludge treatment, zero liquid discharge, etc.).
- Familiar with Saudi environmental regulations and industrial compliance standards.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies and long-term growth plans.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Communication & Languages:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Arabic is mandatory or highly preferred.
Data & Reporting:
- Strong analytical skills using Excel, CRM systems, and sales dashboards.
Personal Skills:
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia for client visits and business development.

- Annual sales revenue achievement (e.g., SAR XX million).
- Market share growth in industrial wastewater and environmental solutions sector.
- Number of new strategic clients acquired per year.
- Proposal success rate (won tenders vs. submitted tenders).
- Customer satisfaction and retention rate.
- Sales team performance and development metrics.
V. Additional Requirements
- Valid driving license and ability to travel locally.
- Experience dealing with governmental tenders and industrial procurement systems (Etimad, SAP Ariba, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong network in industrial and environmental sectors is highly advantageous.
