Job Summary The Mechanical Inspector (Rotating Equipment) is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying the installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of rotating equipment to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable international standards, and client quality requirements. The role supports reliable and safe operation of rotating machinery in line with ARAMCO standards.

Roles & Responsibilities Perform inspection activities for rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, motors, and associated auxiliaries. Verify installation, alignment, grouting, coupling, and foundation works in accordance with approved procedures and applicable standards. Ensure compliance with international standards such as API 686 and project specifications. Review and witness mechanical run tests, functional tests, and pre-commissioning activities. Monitor and verify implementation of quality system standards, inspection procedures, and ITPs. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and third-party inspectors during inspection and testing activities. Review inspection records, test reports, and manufacturer documentation for completeness and compliance. Identify non-conformances, raise NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. Ensure proper documentation and close-out of inspection records as per project requirements. Support project quality and safety objectives during execution and commissioning phases.
Mandatory Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or relevant inspection discipline) with minimum 4 years of relevant inspection experience,ORIndustrial/Technical College Diploma with minimum 8 years of relevant mechanical inspection experience. Proven knowledge of applicable international standards related to rotating equipment, including API 686. Working knowledge of quality management system standards and inspection methodologies. Practical experience in the design, installation, and operation of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, generators, turbines, and motors. Adequate knowledge of Nondestructive Testing (NDT) methods including MT, PT, UT, VT, and RTFI. ARAMCO CBT certification preferred; candidates to provide SAP Number and CBT details if available.
