Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, test, and balance HVAC air and hydronic systems (airflow, pressure, temperature, and velocity)
- Adjust dampers, valves, diffusers, fans, and control devices to meet design specifications
- Perform system diagnostics to identify airflow or performance issues
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and TAB (Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing) reports
- Use specialized instruments such as manometers, anemometers, airflow hoods, and data loggers
- Verify system performance meets project specifications, standards, and local codes
Skills
Education & Experience:
- Diploma in mechanical or related field.
- +5 years of experience in Airflow control or HVAC.
- Knowledge of HVAC principles, airflow dynamics, and system balancing
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
