We are a leading Engineering Consultancy seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter to join our design team.

Role Overview

The Electrical Drafter will support the Electrical Engineering team by producing high-quality electrical drawings in line with design intent, authority requirements, and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Prepare electrical Shop Drawings and As-Built Drawings

  •  Draft electrical layouts including:

  •  Lighting

  •  Power

  •  ELV systems

  •  Update drawings based on:

  •  Engineer instructions

  •  AOR / Client comments

  •  Coordinate drawings with architectural and mechanical disciplines

  •  Ensure drawings comply with project standards and submission requirements

Requirements

  •  Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  •  3–7 years of experience as an Electrical Drafter

  •  Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)

  •  Experience in consultancy or government projects is preferred

  •  Ability to work under the supervision of an Electrical Engineer

  •  Good understanding of design documentation and coordination

Design decisions and engineering approvals remain with the Electrical Engineer.

  •  Experience with large-scale or governmental projects
