Job Purpose:
Assist in terminal management to drive productivity and profitability of the terminal and fulfilling its commercial obligations to its customers in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist on enforcement, administering of daily operations of the terminal in order to optimize resource use, minimize costs and maintain quality standards. Lead and motivate the Operations Team to ensure levels of service meet or exceed customers’ expectations and that all departments have a focus on continuous improvement. Ensure that the respective unit operates strictly in accordance with statutory work, health, safety, environment and security requirements. Represent the company on external committees and associations when needed. Participate in SOP reviews. Ensure that Sr. Officers and Officers are able to deliver the terminal requirements within a given time frame. Frequently perform Safety Inspection and highlight potential risks and suggest corrective actions. Managing roster of their respective section or unit to ensure adequate manpower is available to deliver the requirement. Analyze available data and prepare performance reports. Maintain an excellent relationship with various stakeholders. Other related tasks delegated by the management.

Experience & Qualifications:
3-5 years of port operations and management experience. Bachelor's degree.
Skills:
Ability to understand operational issues quickly and make wise decisions. Has wide knowledge and understanding on every aspect of terminal operations and other business functions. Must be structured, organized and proactive with proven skills & experience as a change manager. Action oriented manager with high energy levels, initiative and a strong collaborative approach to doing business. Excellent communication skills in English and able to manage effectively in a multicultural environment.
