Job Summary The Mechanical Site Inspector (E2) is responsible for supervising, inspecting, and ensuring that all mechanical works at the project site are executed in compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes and standards. The role involves close coordination with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of works.

Roles & Responsibilities Inspect and monitor mechanical installation works at site, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems. Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and international/local standards. Conduct regular site inspections and report any non-conformities, defects, or deviations to the concerned parties. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Review method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings related to mechanical works. Witness testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements at site. Prepare inspection reports, daily logs, and progress updates. Liaise with engineers, consultants, and project management teams to ensure smooth execution of works.
Mandatory Requirements Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical site inspection or supervision. Post-secondary Intermediate Institute Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken). Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation practices, and inspection procedures. Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
