Job Details

To coordinate and administer the ‘Change Request Management & Maintenance Optimizer’ & ‘Solution Manager’ processes in SAP implementation environment in the most efficient and effective manner to help the organization adapt to changed business system and minimize the impact from changes.

Skills

Policies, Processes and Procedures


-              Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.


Day- to-day operations


-              Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the Technical Support Section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.


Change Management Operations


-              Defines the scope of Change management process functions, records configuration items and relevant information and recommends appropriate strategies for Change management, the process of transition and successful implementation of SAP project.


-              Takes responsibility for development of change programs ensuring best fit for the organization to provide control on impact of new system implementation and support new business process and new system so that they are effectively adapted, used and the objectives of the system implementation are realized.


-              Monitors new implementations and changes in the SAP application systems and coordinates with proponent department and end users imparting awareness on the changes and tracking system performance.


Solution Manager


-              Coordinates the Solution Manager operations providing a centralized support and system management suit for various SAP modules within the SAP system landscape thus helping the company manage its core business process and link business processes to the underlying IT infrastructure.


-              Facilitates efficient solution design, documentation, configuration, testing and operations and helps in various types of project management by providing project specific template and laying a platform that provides integrated content, tool and methodologies that are needed to implement, support, operate and monitor SAP solutions.


Project Management


-              Leads the team in organising and supervising activities and work of the contractors to ensure that all work agreed upon is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with the organisation requirements and is in line with operating procedures and policy.


Application Acceptance Tests


-              Witnesses and attends application acceptance tests of completed projects to verify that the applications work in order to make the necessary closures and recommendations to the project.


Operational Improvement


-              Identifies opportunities for improvements to processes/procedures in ‘Change Management’ and ‘Solution Manager’ tools development & operations and make recommendations in implementing appropriate systems.


User Training


-              Trains user departmental staff and creates awareness within the end users on the changes and development in SAP application systems so that they can independently utilise the module’s functionality.


Reporting


-              Prepares section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards


Safety, Health & Environment


-              Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
