Prepares Completion or Workover Programs. Assure the programs based on all available information from nearby wells. Workover Program shall include application of standard operations procedures, best practices and lessons learned, Progress time and cost charts for the Completion or Workover phase, De-Completion program (well killing, tubing pulling, plug setting) for Workover, Fishing, Christmas tree, tubing and down hole completion equipment to meet expected conditions and well integrity, Coiled Tubing applications, Stimulation program, Completions fluids program, Perforating program.

Skills

•  Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner. 


•  Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the Drilling Engineering Section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.


•  Monitors and inspects contractors’ activities to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of contract, and reports any discrepancy between contract and actual work to the Supervisor.


•  Reviews, checks and compiles daily work reports prepared by contractors on concerned work progress and reports to the Supervisor.


• Delivery of effective workover and completion solutions for the company and will work closely with the drilling, workover operation, subsurface and production teams.


• Engineering support to, design and prepare workover programmes for water shutoff, ESP repair, ESP installations, well integrity repairs.


• Ensure all pre-job technical calculations are performed (kill fluid requirements, etc).
  Work with material , Logistics, Contracts and operation Team to ensure service order prepared for all equipment.


• Ensure long lead items are identified and ordered for upcoming 
  operations.


• Prepare post-job workover reports and other technical reports as required.
  Conduct engineering post-job reviews with workover rig and service companies to define engineering and performance improvements.


• Provide technical and engineering support to workover operations 
  site staff.
  Offer recommendations for operational improvements plus any optimization opportunities.


• Establish and maintain office well files.
  Work with the in place workover manual , training material and develop it further to be align with company standards.
