Safety
Ensure effective leadership in HSE, leading by example and setting the direction for a successful health and safety program and creating a foundation for a positive safety culture
Ensure effective management of HSE risks and impacts. Report all hazards, incidents and Near Misses in line with the Copeland HSE policy. Active involvement in the investigation of accidents, near misses, incidents and ill health where required
Assembly Processes
Manage the assembly operation; ensure targets are achieved in terms of volumes and productivity
Liaise with production planner and ensure sufficient resources are available to meet production targets
Monitor and evaluate employee performance
Monitor production equipment and ensure preventative maintenance
Warehouse Management
Liaise with the logistics and planning functions to ensure that inbound and out bound movements are scheduled to meet the capacity of the internal and external warehouses
Monitor and evaluate employee performance
Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic cycle counts
Product Development
In conjunction with the marketing and engineering functions, assess and evaluate the impact of new products in the assembly process
Identify and qualify new technologies to enhance the assembly process
Continuous Improvement
Participate in Copeland Business Systems initiatives as required
Promote continuous improvement values throughout the organization
Support other IMEA locations to standardize and optimize processes
