Role's Purpose:
The Associate Director, Sales & Marketing will lead BeOne’s commercial Oncology team in the GCC region, with full accountability for team development, product launches, and achievement of ambitious sales and marketing objectives. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep oncology expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a strong enthusiastic and passionate leader with a hands-on approach and full accountability for developing the team and achieving commercial goals and product objectives in the GCC region through them.
Oversee the generation of insights from the therapeutic field, and translation of these insights into a comprehensive, cross-functional strategy with new innovative tools that accelerates the delivery of our impactful and innovative medications to the right eligible patients.
Closely collaborate with Medical and Market Access and lead the development of tactics and tools for the field force to effectively address customer needs.
Describe in depth what a customer journey is, the stakeholders involved and why it is important to our business and connect this to the strategy.
Shape the informal and formal research and know what a good research brief and briefing looks like while leading the team to ask the right questions.
Develop value propositions for BeOne products in hand, explaining why they provide competitive advantage through the in depth understanding of the customer's desired experience.
Understand in depth all the time the cost-effectiveness and the key drivers of value for stakeholders, and lead in building a compelling argument to support BeOne value propositions.
Draft brand’s benefits and positioning, and how it dictates the marketing strategy, decisions, plans and supporting materials based on deep understanding the internal and external insights.
Understand in depth the scenario analysis and know how to interpret key data and identify possible actions for the future proactively
Support a leadership culture which attracts, develops, coaches and retain talents.
Active part of the future success of the MENA and New Markets organization, creating effective internal communication and foster teamwork.
Business acumen with strong results orientation and analytical skills, including experience with developing and testing assumptions, developing forecasts, determining commercial value, assessing risks, and identifying business opportunities.
Lead the execution of strategies and tactics through various programs/channels including digital based on the clinical and health economic evidence as well as relevant product services.
Establish relationships with KOLs through his team and understand the clinical/scientific details for commercial success
Responsible for working with other partners to ensure the robustness of the supply chain plan, to timely fulfill the patients’ needs in the assigned region
Consistently ensure operating in accordance with BeOne's Standards of conduct and all applicable local laws and regulations.
Other Qualifications/Requirements:
KSA commercial and marketing experience is a must.
Gulf countries experience is a plus.
7+ years of experience in Oncology/hematology field in the Saudi market is a must
3+ years of experience in people management experience is a must.
Experience with new product launch in oncology Field within the GCC region
Scientific solution and patient-oriented mindset - and capability to move and execute in a rapidly changing, ambiguous environment.
Robust commercial experience and skills (Sales, Analysis and Insights, SF effectiveness), along with a robust marketing experience including leading portfolio business results through developing portfolio strategy while working closely with regional and global teams.
He/she has experience for strong cross functional collaboration (Medical Affairs, Market Access, HR, Finance, Regulatory, etc.) working in a very dynamic and fast environment with the ability to navigate in a matrix organization within Country and Region.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunities, and risks.
Agility, good judgment, and decision making, external focus, problem solving, positive attitude and curiosity, driven by innovation and excellence, creative, professional with high integrity, attracted to diversity and international multi-cultural working environment.
Experienced in Area planning, SF sizing, metrics and KPIs including performance Management
Strong in building bridges and alliances across functional and regional boundaries to deliver value
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and virtual
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Associate Director, Sales & Marketing will be managing 3 Key Account Managers across GCC.
As the portfolio expands, the supervisory organization might expand accordingly.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in all MS Office programs.
Location: Riyadh
Travel Required:
Availability to travel 40% of your time.
