About the job ELECTRICAL BIM MODELER

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and manage 3D BIM models for electrical systems, including LV (Low Voltage), MV (Medium Voltage), and substations.
  • Model and coordinate ELV systems such as CCTV, telecom, fire alarm, access control, and public address systems.
  • Integrate electrical models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines, ensuring clash-free designs.
  • Prepare drawings, schematics, and schedules directly from BIM models for construction, installation, and fabrication.
  • Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.
  • Support coordination workshops, interface reviews, and technical meetings with engineering, construction, and client teams.
  • Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Maintain proper version control and documentation of all models and deliverables.

Key Qualifications 


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in electrical BIM modeling.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks Manage for model integration and clash detection.
  • Strong understanding of LV/MV systems, substations, and ELV systems.
  • Experience in multi-discipline coordination within building or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards, ISO 19650, and BEP workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • GCC or large-scale infrastructure project experience is preferred.
