About the job ELECTRICAL BIM MODELER
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage 3D BIM models for electrical systems, including LV (Low Voltage), MV (Medium Voltage), and substations.
- Model and coordinate ELV systems such as CCTV, telecom, fire alarm, access control, and public address systems.
- Integrate electrical models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines, ensuring clash-free designs.
- Prepare drawings, schematics, and schedules directly from BIM models for construction, installation, and fabrication.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.
- Support coordination workshops, interface reviews, and technical meetings with engineering, construction, and client teams.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Maintain proper version control and documentation of all models and deliverables.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in electrical BIM modeling.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks Manage for model integration and clash detection.
- Strong understanding of LV/MV systems, substations, and ELV systems.
- Experience in multi-discipline coordination within building or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with BIM standards, ISO 19650, and BEP workflows.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary project teams.
- GCC or large-scale infrastructure project experience is preferred.
