To work closely together with the supervisor, manager and the project team to ensure that all assigned projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget in accordance with the contract and International Maritime Industries Management System (IMIMS). The candidate must be able to collaborate with other departments and communicate results and concerns to the project management team. Work under pressure and drive a group to completion against aggressive timelines and work scopes.


1. Ensure all assigned works are executed safely on time.


2. Ensure that all technical drawings and documentation are followed.


3. Determine the appropriate equipment or method based on requirements.


4. Obtain a valid work permit (Hot/Cold/Isolation, etc.) before performing any activity.


5. Attend safety and daily toolbox meetings and under the risk involved with the job.


6. Perform the task according to the specific codes and follow the drawings.


7. Monitor amount use of materials to identify possible shortages and address at the earliest possible opportunity.


8. Ability to follow and examine finished work and ensure it meet standards of IMI quality.


 9. Inspect the equipment and tools t o b e u s e d b e f o r e and during work and maintain  equipment in good condition.  


10. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) responsibilities. 



Education: High School diploma or equivalent qualification


Competencies:  Excellent skills of producing curved plates by line heating work.


 Experience in line heating work for more than 5 years.


 Knowledge of Inspecting materials, bending equipment and tools.


 Knowledge of relative safety standards and use of protective equipment.


 Understanding of various bending processes, bending symbols, part symbol, as well as cutting and grinding and equipment operations.


 Good oral communication skills in English.


 Supervise and lead a group of technicians, overseeing the execution of bending operations.


 Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, production planning, and quality control, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.


 Conduct training and development programs for bending work, identifying areas for skill enhancement and providing coaching as needed.


 Prepare work schedules, considering project priorities, resource availability, and deadlines.


 Maintain accurate documentation, including bending records, inspection reports, and project progress reports.


 Enforce safety protocols and practices, promoting a safe working environment for all group members.


 Excellent technical knowledge and problem‐solving skills, capable of addressing welding‐related challenges.


 Attention to detail and commitment to quality control and assurance.


Experience:  At least 9 years’ experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Construction or Shipyard/Ship repair Industry.
