About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for HVAC Technician – Engineering to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Strong knowledge of HEX systems, refrigeration cycles, CRAC units, and HVAC control systems.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with approved schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure all plant rooms, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and operational condition.
Comply fully with JEMS requirements and all Fire, Life, Health, and Safety (FLHS) standards.
Maintain and service heating, cooling, AHU (Air Handling Units), FAHU (Fresh Air Handling Units), and FCU (Fan Coil Units) to ensure optimal climate control in guest rooms and public areas.
Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot ventilation and exhaust fans to ensure proper air circulation and indoor air quality.
Monitor, analyze, and adjust system parameters to optimize performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Hold a Technical Diploma / ITI in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering.
Possess software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate).
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills.
Have 2+ years of experience in the technical department.
