Description
The Sales Representative is responsible for increasing revenue and market share by promoting and selling airline tickets and related services to both domestic and international clients. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and other partners to maximize sales opportunities and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively promote airline services to travel agencies, corporate clients, and potential customers in both domestic and international markets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand market share.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiations to secure contracts and partnerships across both markets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats in the domestic and international arenas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster loyalty and long-term engagement.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to address client needs and preferences effectively.
- Monitor sales performance and financial metrics to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals across both market segments.
- Analyze sales data and market feedback to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and cost reduction.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase revenue in both domestic and international markets.
- Prepare comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue transactions.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure the smooth execution of sales transactions.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, in the airline industry or related field.
- Experience in domestic sales, international sales or marketing is a plus.
- Experience in airline reservation systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- CRM software.
- Knowledge of the domestic travel market and industry trends or international sales regulations.
