Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable & Collections Officer to manage customer receivables and ensure timely collection of payments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring outstanding balances, following up on overdue accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records while delivering professional customer communication. Key Responsibilities Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and track outstanding balances Follow up with customers via email, phone, and written correspondence to secure payments Apply and reconcile incoming payments (bank transfers, checks, online payments) Resolve billing discrepancies and payment disputes in a timely manner Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and payment activity Prepare regular receivables and collections reports for management Collaborate with sales and finance teams to address account issues Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, or credit control Strong understanding of invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and negotiation skills High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines
