We are seeking a senior Transcreation Director to lead Arabic-first, culturally driven storytelling for a high-profile organization in Saudi Arabia.
This role is ideal for a creative leader who understands that effective transcreation is not about literal translation, but about reinterpreting meaning, tone, and intent to resonate authentically with local audiences.
The Role You will be responsible for:Leading transcreation strategy across campaigns, platforms, and content ecosystems Ensuring global and regional brand narratives are culturally relevant, linguistically accurate, and emotionally impactful for Saudi audiences Acting as the senior authority on Arabic language, cultural nuance, and local storytelling Collaborating closely with creative, strategy, and senior stakeholder teams Reviewing and elevating the work of transcreation teams and copywriters Establishing quality standards, frameworks, and best practices for Arabic transcreation Overseeing content across digital, social, film, print, and experiential channels
Candidate Profile10+ years’ experience in transcreation, copywriting, or creative leadership Native or near-native Arabic with strong English proficiency Deep understanding of Saudi culture and regional sensitivities Experience working on large-scale, high-visibility brands or complex organisations Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
