JOB PURPOSE:
To prepare, negotiate, monitor and achieve the annual vehicle sales budget of own branch. Oversee, manage and control the branch vehicles inventory in order to ensure avoiding dead stock, higher sales revenues, profitability and customer satisfaction within the AJVA’s policies, procedures and sales budget.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the Branch Sales department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement Prepare reports of the Branch Sales department timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards. Assess, facilitate, streamline activities and develop internal capabilities to ensure teamwork, increased productivity and better business results across all functions. Manage and monitor the use of Company properties and tools for assigned geographic area to ensure they are used properly and for the service of the company. Prepare, negotiate and justify the annual branch sales budget to ensure logical sales targets are set and achieved Manage the daily vehicle sales of the branch and monitor the sales deals to ensure meeting the daily sales targets and proper closure of the sales deals. Review, analyze and benchmark own branch vehicle sales against the AJVA’s overall sales volume to ensure alignment and competitiveness with other branch sales Scan, identify and report on competitors’ vehicle promotional offers to the concerned people in the organization to take necessary actions to match or win over the competitors. Conduct periodic Sales related trainings to Sales team in order to enhance and develop skill sets to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Oversee and manage the vehicles inventory of the branch and communicate with the Sales and Marketing department to supply the requested vehicles on time to ensure meeting customer needs and increased sales revenues Monitor and control the discount levels provided by the sales consultants to ensure that big discounts are only provided to slow moving vehicles for quick liquidation and avoidance of dead stock Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of branch sales activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner Provide formal and informal feedback to subordinates in order to ensure their continuous development Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provide instructions to subordinates/team members and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment JOB SPECIFICATION:
6 - 8 years relevant experience in Sales including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any other related field. Bi-lingual (Arabic and English)
